Auto Insurance

The right auto insurance policy can make all the difference. Your policy can provide protection against physical damage to your vehicle and get you back on the road quickly. It also provides protection in the event you are involved in an accident with your vehicle against medical and legal expenses resulting from injury, loss of life or property damage.

Vital vs Convenience Coverages

In auto insurance there are 2 different types of coverages, vital and convenience. Vital coverages are essential coverages that if not chosen correctly can plague your life financially for years to come. Convenience coverages on the other hand are optional coverages you as the client can decide to include on your policy or not.

Vital Insurance Coverages

Bodily Injury Liability
Helps pay for bodily injury expenses, like hospital bills and medical expenses, that you may be held responsible to pay if you cause an accident that injures another driver or another car’s passenger.

Property Damage Liability
Provides assistance to pay for someone else’s vehicle you’re held responsible for damaging in the event of an accident.

Underinsured & Uninsured Motorist Coverage
Pays for damages you are legally entitled to recover from a driver without liability insurance or a hit-and-run driver or for an amount that exceeds an at-fault driver’s insurance limits. In other words, it covers you when the other guy doesn’t have enough or doesn’t have any insurance to pay you for damage repair or your medical bills.

Medical Coverages
Helps pay for hospital bills and medical care expenses for you and your passengers if you’re injured in an accident, no matter who was at fault.

Convenience Coverages

Collision Coverage
Helps pay for repairs to your car for damage caused by an accident. Standard collision deductibles will pay for most repairs up to the fair market value of your vehicle. Collision coverage usually also comes with a deductible, this is the amount you are responsible for paying before your insurance benefits start.

Comprehensive Coverage
Helps pay for repairs or to replace your vehicle if it is stolen, vandalized, or damaged in some way other than in a collision. Includes loss or damage from fire, flood, falling objects, wind, hail, and collision with an animal. Like collision coverage, comprehensive coverage also has a deductible to be met before insurance coverages will apply.

Roadside Assistance
Provides towing to the nearest qualified repair shop and other basic emergency services. It may also assist with tire changing, gas & oil delivery, jump start your battery or even send out a locksmith if you’re locked out of your car.

Rental Coverage
Provides assistance paying for the cost of renting a vehicle while yours is in the shop being repaired after a covered loss.
